Most towels are fine until they aren’t. You use them for a year or two and somewhere along the way they go thin and scratchy and you stop noticing because it happens gradually. Then you stay somewhere with a genuinely good towel and you remember what the difference feels like. That is the moment we are catering to here.

What we look for is absorbency that actually works, weight that feels considered without being slow to dry, and a pile that survives repeated washing without matting down into something that resembles a gym changing room. GSM matters but it is not the whole story. The weave, the cotton quality, the finishing all play a part in whether a towel earns a place in your bathroom or quietly gets demoted to the dog.
