Nylon Hollow Core Technology – Before hollow-core, only heavy aluminum and soft open cored hubs were used. Atom heard you right from the beginning! We understood that skaters needed a lightweight wheel but still needed the amount of roll that an aluminum core offered, hence hollow-core technology. Hollow Core Technology is utilized with both Juke and Boom formulas to bring out the best attributes from both the core and urethane! We developed a way to keep all elements intact called ML Technology with this two-piece system. ML Technology is essentially a “lip” on the face of the core that creates a ridge for the urethane to grab onto.
